Proud of you!
the camera on the helmet has an interesting effect that it makes me feel like I'm on the bike. I'm not a biker at all, but it was terrific fun!
And why shouldn't you be able to do everthing? I think even when we have stomas and bags, we can do nearly everything, and what I haven't done is because I'm too lazy or working too much. I can't think of anything I might dream of doing right now that I can't do, except stomache crunches.
Will you keep posting? I'm going to have a jpouch in January and don't know anyone where I am who has one.
Yeah it is a cool effect how the helmet looks to stay stationary in the video, thank you! But yes, when I had my ostomy I was living a normal life, just kept off my bike which was killing me, just wanted to get the j pouch surgery done and be recovered and strong before I got back on the bike. I just had nightmare thoughts of taking a spill off a jump like the first in the video (105 feet) and landing on my stomach, or having the handlebar jam into my stoma
But yes, I have posted a bit, look through my previous posts to follow my story! Any questions don't hesitate to ask.
