pouchogram?

Im going in for dynamic proctogram (same as the pouchogram) #3 on April 20th, for my surgery on the 25th to fix the fistula. They are a bit uncomfortable, but really nothing too bad. First they have you in your oh-so-fashionable gown lay down on that darn cold metal bed under this big machine like this (like an x-ray). Then you roll onto your left side and they put a small catheter in your bum. I had this a week and a half after surgery to see what the problem was, and it hurt, but i also had it at the 3 month mark, and it didnt hurt at all. So youll be A-okay. They shoot a good amount of barium up there and you can watch it on the TV screen. They will have you turn around and move you all over on this bed thing, like a rollercoaster, to coat your pouch so they see if it is all good. Then they pop out hte catheter(yyou cant feel it) talk to you while you sit up, then tell you to run like the wind to the toilet so you can expel all that barium. Its uncomfortable holding all that in, and i lost some before i made it to the toilet, but no biggie. Then you go home. It lasts at most 5 minutes.
