Just wondering, Why doesnt anyone get on the chat rooms? Wouldnt that be a quicker way to get questions answered?

That would be kinda neat. I personally have never done a chat room. Is that when you are all online at one time and type back and forth to each other? I'm 55 and just getting into all this neat techno stuff, so I would be willing and interested in learning. Rosemary

The most efficient way is to designate a day and time for a chat to take place. Actually some chat rooms I have gone to (ages ago) would have a schedule of what topics would be discussed and when.
There used to be a Disney World chat I frequented years ago which had great info and a Garth Brooks one (big fans here) that I also used.
When chat rooms first started and became popular I checked them out but they really were not for me. Having a specific chat area for a designated purpose makes more sense for me.
Soooooooooo maybe people could post what time and day of the week kind of works for them and maybe it could become a place to meet and chat and see how that works. We need to know what time zone the chat is on I would guess???? This way people know what would be their time to get there to be in sync???

I partly answered my own question...I just logged on and my current time is 12:38 and it is 10:38PM in the chat room. So whatever the time zone is that is 2 hours earlier than EST is what the chat room's time zone is.
You just use the drop down to select the chat room you want to enter. So in our case it would be Ostomies. The one that was active was the chronic pain one with 3 people in there. All the other ones had zeroes so none of them were being used.

I have zero input as to when to schedule chats as I don't want to be locked into a time. I like being able to pop in when I can.
. That being said, if you guys set up a time and I was available, I would check it out.

You can set your time zone in your profile. I haven't tried the chat, so I'm not sure if fixes the problem, but I didn't like having the times on the messages be off, so I fixed mine (and had to do it again when daylight savings time started).
I do a chat occasionally w/people w/some of the same work interests .... it's a scheduled thing on twitter, bigger than ours would probably be. It's interesting, but also kind of tiring..... like several dozen people talking all at once....
