Jackie - read the hunger games! (sorry to beat a dead horse here but I love that book series, soon to be a movie in 3 weeks, I keep suggesting this book and trilogy to people).
Jackie - I would strongly suggest you to pay attention to what your body is telling you, rest! You are doing too much and there are too many distractions in your life. Most of us who have had major abdominal and/or intestinal surgeries will tell you that. I clearly remember the day I had to drive my daughter to a dance rehearsal to our city's downtown area, I had to walk on busy streets, and couldn't enter an intersection half way thru the walk light cycle. I was walking that slowly. Once I got her there (she was a 6th grader) a kind neighbor saw me and offered to bring her home. I could not get to my car fast enough, I went straight home, went straight to bed and did not move until the next morning. This was at 6 pm. My husband kept checking on me to see if I was alive. I skipped dinner that night, I was in so much pain and just wanted to lie still. So please listen to your body. Sometimes our body is smarter than our brain.
Hang in there....you'll be feeling much better in a month or two.
