I am about 6 weeks out of surgery and have been having issues with the pouch either not sticking or causing an irritation....I can't use anything with tape but those last a bit longer if i can stand it...the ones w/o tape don't last and on top of that I won't know til tuesday if the dr is going to revise my stoma as it is very tight and has a kink in it..also i am running out of supplies need to order but what do i order?? when I don't know what will happen and what will work for me...Please help i am giving my wocn a call today too. thanks DEBBI

Do you use skin prep or shower after putting on a new wager? Both of those can cause issues. Have you tried different manufacturers?

I hope your woc nurse was able to help!

You can call convatec (my preference) or hollister for advice and samples. Nurses answer the phone, not salespeople.

I have gotten many samples and the 2 that i am leaning to are the hollister convex system and coloplast convex system I am just waiting as I do not want to order supplies then my stoma changes because of more surgery...hopefully i will know something by tuesday when i see the surgeon. i have a c-type of stricture in my stoma and my stoma has to work really hard to get any out put out unless it is very thin and that is hard for me to do. I can drink til i am blue in the face but my out put is thick unless i am on clears well i dont want to live only on clears....DEBBI
