Gel Capsule pills

I take a multivitamin, gel capsule vitamin D, and Celexa. I've never seen any undigested pill go though. Just make sure you don't drink soda or something that speeds up your GI track when you take those medications.

     I have taken gel capsules several times, the latest is clindamycin for gum abscess (think I am allergic to the med itself though).  No problems with my system absorbing the gel caps and meds inside.  At least I don't see anything coming out in my bag.  Now, potassium pills are another matter.  They gave me them in a local hospital a few months post op because I was dehydrated and had low electrolytes.  The pills were HUGE and came out in their entirety in my bag .  This was not the hospital where my surgery was performed.....and one of the reasons I did NOT have the surgery there..lol, they know nothing!  The next day, even after I told the nurse the pills came out in my ostomy bag, she pranced back into my room with not two, but FOUR potassium pills!!!  Oy!
