I had adhesion surgery about
3 weeks ago, well now at the top of my scar, its dipping in. It looks like a belly button! My husband is a nurse and he has no idea what's going on! Anybody have an idea?

Did a man sew you up? (sorry, guys, but women are just naturally better at some things!)

Do you still have your bb? Or did they get rid of it this time?

My real belly button was almost sewn shut the first time, but now its a little more
open, I guess where he stapled this time was farther over.

Yikes. Does it hurt or just dip in with no pain associated? Rosemary

My husband's incision is 10" long. It was not stitched or stapled on the outstide (glued) but at the very top of it there is a dimple like effect where it ends beneath the sternum area. Fortunately the hair on his chest totally camoflauges the scar except for this small area. We never asked or questioned this and assumed because this is where it ended and needed some kind of tying off so to speak. His definitely resembles a dimple and not another belly button so I can see where you might be concerned and should get some kind of answer as my sister's incision doesn't seem to be like that.

It doesn't really hurt anymore than I would expect it to. I don't think it will show, not like I'm wearing bikinis anyway! It may be because I've lost all the muscle tone in my stomach.
