A friend just told me about this community on Facebook and thought it was cool so I decided to share. Lots of poop jokes, too.

Has anyone here been brave enough to join or like one? I am so private about my ostomy. Not too many people know about it.

I'm on all of them uc_free. Everyone either has an ostomy, has IBD or is a caregiver of someone with an ostomy or IBD.

Uc_Free- I "Liked" all of them and sometimes I post. People will post questions to them and they will post it on their status and people will answer, kinda like on here.
I thought the same way you did, but I think the positives outweigh the negatives. If someone sees that I liked all these it's not a big deal. Most of my immediate friends know about my Ostomy and if someone sees that I liked these pages it doesnt really mean anything. Maybe I know someone that has one?
It's so nice to have a network of people you can relate to and you can also put pictures to faces on there.
