rectal stump removal

hi there, its my first time on the forum , my son recently had rectal stump removal (4 weeks ago) and although healing well he still hasnt had any erections , is it still too early from the operation for anything to happen

It's hard to tell at this point because there is probably still some soreness around that area. Have you brought this up to his surgeon? There is a small possibility that some nerves were damaged during the surgery but lets hope thats not the case. Keep us updated

hello brian,
thanks for your reply, there will still be soreness and i am hoping that given time all will be fine, his consultant said there would be a slight chance during the operation that nerves may be cut but said it would be in single figures percentage wise, i was just wondering if there was anyone else out there who has been through the op and could give us a time scale if they were having the same problems.
