Made through 2 days at Great Wolf Lodge

I was surprised and impressed that my appliance made it through 2 days at Great Wolf Lodge. I was in an out of the water, and pretty much wore just a bathing suit for about 6 hours each day.

Just before we left, The flange started coming off. It was no big deal though. I noticed and got it changed right away.

Anyway, I wanted to share because it is just another example that ostomates can do anything we want!

We had a great time, and it was great to be able to relax and have fun with the kids.

Have you tried Sure Seals??? It's waterproof and breathable and should stop the edges of the wafer from releasing.

I spend every weekend at the lake in the water and can usually get 4-5 days with my wafers.

Thanks - I am still having skin issues, so I change every 2-3 days anyway. Once I get it figured out, I might try to go longer between changes.
