My stomach is really hurting, and everytime I drink some water, I get like a reflux thing, where it comes up a little ways but not all the way. Anyways please pray that it is not a blockage, I really hate blockages, they make me feel so sick!!
Anyways if you all would say a little prayer that I do not have a blockage I would appreciate that a lot!!

Thank you so much, I am still hurting but not as bad, so luckily I'll be ok. You all are very sweet!

Dusti, God help you and keep you from obstructing. You started with all this so young and you still are. Have you had prior small bowel adhesion obstructions?

Dusti, Result of a pelvic organ prolapse surgery I had continual small bowel obstructions for 13 months. took me that long to find a doc to do what he could to save me. Did extensive adhesion lysis and permanent end ileostomy. I was fine for 4 years and luckily I traveled the world on MANY cruises.
Then this March my stoma severely stenosed. The doc I had had retired and his replacement did NOTHING! Told me it was 'functional" and that I was "bowel obsessed" many hospitalizations later I had to find my own help. A general surgeon did a redo of the stoma and loosened the bowel below laproscopically. BUT now I have some re-stenosis going on. What a nightmare and it has only been two months since the stoma revision. SO FAR no sbo's but a LOT going on with the stoma. I just really fear if I need yet more surgery I don't want to get back into SBO land, but I cannot let this second stoma stenose. I am in trouble. I feel for you. Do these ever unblock if you just drink liquid slowly and stay away from solids?

Rosemary, usually they do unblock themselves, there has been a couple times where I had to be admitted and have a NG tube to suck all the stuff out, but most of the time they do unblock themselves.
I don't want to sound dumb, but what is a stoma stenose?

There are no dumb questions. A stoma stenosis is where scar tissue can grow in at the skin level or the abdominal muscle level and literally close the stoma. Rosemary
