Strange noise

Well i made it a week post op! Haha only thing bothering me now is still slight soreness around incision sites. Mainly the big csection scar. Sorta strange too is that it feels like theres sort of a fullness on the left side of the incision. Not bulging or anything or painful per se but it is weird and it makes a funny gurgling noise when i push around it. Sure hope its not a hernia. Really dont feel like more surgery. Anyone had this after colectomy? Was hinking it may be laparoscopy gas still escaping in there or somethin

I would think gas.

Probably gas. And the incision starts to feel really weird as the muscle grows back together.

I had the gurgling and fullness a couple of weeks after. It went away in about a week. I was told it was normal. No one ever mentioned the possibility of a hernia to me. Our bodies are so individual though. If it concerns you, call your surgeon's office. My surgeon has a nurse whose only duty seems to be answering questions like this. It didn't matter how seemingly unimportant the question was, she always took the time to answer. I hope you are feeling well other than this?
