Currently in my 2nd UC flare this year. Have had Left Sided colitis for 47 years. GI is wanting Biologics but I am not comfortable with them. Have taken to much pred. My question is recommendations for colorectal surgeon in Marietta Georgia. Thanks for any suggestions.

So sorry you're in another flare. I understand your desire to get off Prednisone and not wanting to try Biologics. I recommend doing an internet search for a colorectal surgeon in your area or asking your GI for a recommendation. You are a very strong person for having lived with colitis for 47 years. I had left sided Crohn's colitis for 7 years and had my colon removed. Life without it has been really good.

Dr Jay Singh is out of Piedmont Hospital. He is awesome. I trust him with my life.
