I have a Galbladder ultrasound and I havent been able to eat for hours and I'm soooo hungry. And my stomach is making horrible noises, and of course the waiting room is full, and the tech is really cute! As soon as I leave this place I'm getting some food! Then my stomach will really be loud!

Hopefully the stomach and stoma won't interrupt any good conversations with the ultrasound tech!

Actually, I do have some serious questions. When you have an ultrasound, how does it work? I had one pre-stoma so I know the standard. I just wondered if they work around the stoma, do you have to take the bag off, since things are a little rearranged do they have any trouble finding the Galbladder?

I don't know if they had trouble finding it. I ended up not getting the cute tech :( and the woman who did it just put the stuff on my stomach like usual and used the wand thing seemed like ones I had had before. She did have to go kind of low, but not below my pants, and the only bag related thing that happened was that gel got all over it!
I don't think a Galbladder is down that low, but if it was something down in that area I would think they could just work around the bag.

Is your Gallbladder okay? I had mine out shortly before I was dx'ed with UC. They say people with IBD usually end up with their gallbladder coming out. My niece has Crohn's and she just found out she needs to get her gallbladder removed.

They called today and said no gallstones, so they can do an endoscopy to look if i want.
