Prednisone Question

From hearing others talk, that should be fine. The short time doesn't let your adrenals get lazy.

As a patient, I would only be concerned if I had been on extended Prednisone in the past year. They say it takes a year to get Prednisone's effects out of your body if you had been on it for awhile. So I would worry about the adrenals getting lazy more quickly. (not saying I'm right, but that's what I would be worried about, haha).

My partner's daughter was prescribed something like that for asthma when she was first diagnosed. I flipped and made my partner call the dr. because it sounded so wrong to me w/out a taper, but it was correct.
