fistula at old stoma site...??

Hi everybody,

Patrick, Colectomy for indeterminate colitis 09 and ileostomy reversal, 2010.

For the last few weeks I've been having some trouble at the old stoma scar. A slight puffiness right at the very end of this inch-long scar, on the navel side of the scar. When I put my finger on it, its almost like a little divot or hollow under it, the size of a pea.

Does anyone here have any experience of developing a fistula etc at the site of a stoma scar? What were your early symptoms?

Hi there equestrian mom

A little erratic temperature wise, and a little pain at stoma site.

I am having a capsule endoscopy next week, was just told I passed the patency test yesterday. So hopefully that will clear things up.
