Goodbye Coloplast, Hello Dansac

So, after getting samples, it looks like I'm switching to Dansac's Novolife wafers and bags after 36 years with Coloplast. My skin just doesn't want to stick with Coloplast anymore :(

It's hard to say goodbye to an old friend!

Well good luck with that - change is as good as a rest as they say.

well i may be saying goodbye oakmed hello coloplast. fed up with see through bag and have just found out coloplast are more discreet and more opaque. just sem to have a lot of irritation these days with everything.

strnage how the skins just decides to complain.

     Shaz....were you getting a lot of irritation under the wafer?  I switched from Hollister to Coloplast about two months post op because Hollister was breaking on me.  So far, so good with Coloplast, but, I do see where the skin could become sensitive.

I haven't heard of Dansic, where do you get samples from for them? I wish coloplast would make the mio series in a drainable pouch, I believe that will be a good answer for a lot of people.

Christine, no irritation thank goodness. Since menopause started my skin has changed I think and Coloplast just isn't sticking to me anymore like it used to and as I said I've been a Coloplast girl for 36 years now :( I'm blaming it on menopause because that's the only thing I can put it down to.

Hi Shaz...just wondering if using the Smith & Nephew skin barrier in a pump spray would help. That is the only thing my husband uses along with his Coloplast Sensura wafer and 1" belt. I realize you think menopause is the contributing factor with your skin changing but thought I would just mention this.

Nah, I never use anything but an Eakin Seal and my bag/wafer. I'd hate to have to start adding another step because, basically, I'm lazy lol The Novalife seems to be doing the trick though (touch wood).
