Help choosing a hospital for possible surgery....

Got a call from the GI secretary today that she doesn't think Cleveland will accept my insurance. Naturally the call came at an incredibly inopportune time... I'm from the most Southwestern part of NY state and about 3 hours from Cleveland. I requested her to check into Pittsburgh second & thirdly Rochester. My daughter had some significant health issues as an infant and bad experiences with Buffalo hospitals. For this reason, I requested no Buffalo hospitals.....

Any input??

The best thing is to personally call the customer service # for your personal insurance or if you have online access to your company's website that should list approved facilities, surgeons etc.

Something as important as this you want to be absolutely sure what your ins. will or will not cover for you.
