Awesome!! Must admit that I'm a bit jealous of all you patients that get an epidural... Glad things went well & I'll continue to look for your updates :)

Hi all. Epidural was just for the first 24 hrs, or even less. Then there was alot of pain. There still is. Thanks for everyone's support.

Tell them you need something stronger for the pain.
You will get through it! It will get better!
Lots of hug!

Do you know what they have you on? I was on Dilaudid, Tylenol & Toradol. It helped as long as I kept them on top of it - not even a minute late :)

I didn't get an epidural at all, but did have Dilaudid pump right through my IV and I felt very little pain. Once the pump was gone they had me on....percocet, I think? Just tell them you are in pain and they should do something for you.
Edited to add....I also didn't have the butt wound to deal with, which I hear can be pretty rough. My surgeon felt I was too sick and weak for my body to be able to handle recovering from that part of the surgery, so she left me alone down there!
