so I've been dealing with the inflammation issue in my colon while it heals and passing a lot of mucus. This is what I'm curious about
...I'll go use the bathroom and sit there for maybe 10 minutes till absolutely no more mucus comes out. I'll get up, move around a bit and most of the time in less than 10 minutes, I'm running back to the bathroom and passing more mucus than I did 10 minutes earlier. Where the hell was all this mucus hiding the first time?! How does it get produced so fast like that?

I'm only guessing. The feeling of "having to go" comes from lower down in the colon. When you move around, you dislodge more mucus that then travels down low enough for you to feel, once again, that you have to go.
