I had surgery 20 days ago to repair a parastomal hernia, resite the stoma, and remove a strip of body fat on my abdomen so I'd have a better landing zone for my wafer.
I still have 2 JP drains.
I still have a significant amount of pain, but it intensities greatly whenever I eat or drink too much fluid.
I can walk upright, but whenever I eat, I am back walking stooped over. I have to take pain pills every 6 hours, but even with pain meds on board, after I eat or drink too much fluid, no amount of pain pills can relieve the pain. It is agony.
The stoma works good, but seems a little slow.
I am eating mostly white foods, potato, pasta, yogurt, chicken.
