Hello. I have the colostomy since October, 2014, everything was ok until this week. Recently I had a trip, during 6 hours I was in the car. When I began to change my pouch that evening I saw that my stoma was bleeding a little, I thought I could damage it myself. In three days when I began to change the pouch again I saw that it had changed its size, it got bigger. There were some blood vessels, but it didn’t bleed. I have no any other problems or pain. It seemed to me that the upper side of it is bigger than lower. Excrements have changed as well (sorry for such details, may be they’re important), they are not as solid as they were before. It seems to me that my bowels don’t empty completely. So why has my stoma changed its size? Is it constipation (I ate a lot of rice before) or could I damage my stoma during the trip? What should I do? I can’t see a doctor now unfortunately, holidays((
