pain in rectum comes on suddenly

my wife has an ilyostomy I have a colostomy but we share a spasming of the anus which is painful and results in diaper soiling we would like to know if this normal and if possible we don't know if something can be done

Hey guys, I don't know how recently you've had your surgeries and I wonder what you mean by staining the diapers. Your digestive systems are no longer connected to the anus(es) and the only stuff that comes out would be mucous. Maybe I'm missing something; like why are you wearing diapers?
