I used to have this and it drove me insane. A nurse gave me this tip: put some Mylanta or Maalox on a cotton ball and dab it all around your stoma on the skin that's bothering you. Let it dry...repeat a couple of times then put on wafer as usual. (Obviously you need to do this when your stoma is least active). It always gave me relief and it held the itch off for a while. I don't know what's in that stuff that works but it does.
Well my grocery store didn't have either of those two brands but I found another with the same ingredients, magnesium and aluminum are the common ingredients. I'm assuming you put it on your skin, let it dry then put the barrier wipe on top of that?
