Got my ostomy underwear in the mail. I like the pouch and appliance support.

Well,

I'm keepin it real. I am a small girl and always wore thongs under my clothes. Small ones. BUT, new terrain, gotta adjust.

My new ostomy underwear came in. From a company called Ostomy Cares. I am in Canada. I got panties florilee style, ostomy belt florilee, and the boxers for women. I can't believe on the one hand, I am now in underwear like this. On the other, away from how they look, I'm super pleased with them. They're doing what I bought them for! :)

I don't really like the fit of the ostomy belt florilee, but only due to my body shape. Not a product defect. Unless you're long waisted, they come down too low so one couln't wear them, under pants. I have long legs, short waisted, and the bottom hem when I put pants on, is too long down past my buttocks to leg. I was hoping it would be a bit above crotch like mannequin pic, but my shape I guess is more short waisted as said. I guess it's a learning curve and I'd need to order it shorter. Then it would be quite comfortable. I love that these garments hold it all firmly in place though. I'll keep this for skirts and dresses.

They are super comfortable for me holding my pouch in the pocket as well as flattening things under my pants. They completely cover my pouch too. My lowriders are way low, the panties waist is higher BUT, since undergarments flatten the bag, I just cover the undergarment waist with my tops which go all the way down to lowrider waist. However, I still look like I have men's testicles when I start to fill as it really goes to bottom of pouch. So still experimenting with things to slow transit.

It's not perfect, but better than with no support.

I feel much much comfortable with the appliance in place not sliding around. And without the bulge of a "pouch muffin top" as my jean's waist, cut/ pressed down in the middle of my pouch. Meaning half of my pouch was in my pants, and half was out above the waistline of my lowriders. When it would start to fill, it would "muffin" over my jean waist. So I am more confident now with clothes. I don't even notice my bag wearing them. This is a good thing.

More comfortable than just reg hollister belt for me. The boxers are super comfy even though they are tight like the rest. I think I can wear them running when able.

Sounds like you had a better experience than I did. I just wanted a simple wrap to keep my ostomy against my body more. So, I ordered what was described as a "wrap". What I got was something that fit like a diaper. It was tight on the top and bottom, but in between was just loose cotton fabric. And since this guy doesn't plan on getting pregnant, it was useless. It was covered by insurance, so it didn't cost me anything. So, it went into the garbage.

Hope you keep finding things to make living easier. I know I have. I never knew there was so many ways to use toilet paper with one hand.

Where are you located if you have insurance covering some things in clothes? Loose in the middle and cotten fabric? Who made that, sure won't do. I also found Comfizz, UK and I'm thinking of trying their band. No pouch but form fitting band by the looks and silicone grippers so they won't slide. They come in 3 levels of support meaning stretch. I've researched forever. Men's and women's.

Here's mens. Maybe this would fit you better. They have video's showing the garments too. Cheaper than stealthbelt or pouchwear. Shipping is 7.50 pounds & product is 10 pounds so ...............high but cheaper than a lot closer.
