Leaking Pee After Colectomy?

I am ten years past my total colectomy and 9 past my reversal.
I've since had a baby 8 years ago, and several resection surgeries on my small because of twists.
In the ensuing years I am begun to leak pee. It started when I was 30, and I"m 35 now and I am constantly wet and chapped. I finally found a brand of panty liner that I'm not allergic to this week, but my pelvic floor studies always come back fine.

I am looking at having a total hysterectomy soon because my essure implants have fractured and moved around and are causing some inflammation which I am told has nothing to do with me leaking, but how many of you have had this issue and what did you do? I need to pee so often, and maybe 5 times a night, but it's always just a little bit and the more I am upright, the more I am soaked. Not the traditional " I pee when I laugh" stuff you hear about, but just a regular dribble.

I would think as empty as we are on the inside there would be plenty of room for my bladder to float around whenever! lol

To clarify you still have your rectum? And your small bowel was reconnected?

I would be inclined to think it is inflammation causing the bladder issue. Possibly from the essure or any intestinal or rectal inflammation. Did you have Crohns or UC?

I had a total proctocolectomy and don't have any bladder issues in fact my bladder issues went away after this surgery. Presurgery I was having some bladder issues including light leaking. My CR said it was from inflammation, because I had so much inflammation in my pelvis it was bothering my bladder. He was right. After my surgery I haven't had one issue.
