Have you tried convex wafers? Skin protector sheets? I had to use skin protector sheets, eakin seals, paste and convex wafers. I also had to play with the size of my flange on the two piece. My stoma size was making me go up to a larger flange on the two piece but the larger size leaked...I would have to change them at least daily. So I got Convatec to send the medium size convex and stretched them all the way to the edge and it worked.

It took me almost 3 or 4 months to find something to work. I also called my stoma nurse, colorectal nurse and they worked with me. I would go in and we would try different brands. I also called the manufacturers and worked with their nurses and staff. They sent me samples so we could eventually get something to work.

Oh...and some of my issues were from weight gain or loss. Just one or two pounds must have changed the whole thing cause there are weights I know I can't be at or my wafer will leak.

I have a colostomy so there is some difference....but maybe this will help.

One more thought....when I have really watery output I also use those thickening crystals. They will thicken it enough that it buys me little bit more time.

What if you used a large flange that fits over the whole dip...rests on the skin on the surrounding edge/high area of the ridge with the hole of the flange large to catch as much as possible? Also do not sleep flat...try to prop yourself up to a semi sitting up position so drainage will go down. You will have to use alot of skin protection.

Or

Find a flange where the total flange fits inside the bowl area, try with small flange with a large hole for stoma and then with the small flange with a small hole for stoma.

The only other thing I can think of is cymed? ??? They make a totally transparent (looks like a square sheet of transparent tape) flange and a "flat" bag. It is a cut to fit opening..... That was the next thing I was going to try.

What has changed from when it was working before to now?

I take the maximum amount of Remicade infusion for crohns which limits my immune system.... So I do understand where you are coming from. My crohns is severe and I am not able to not take the Remicade but with all the issues I had with my bag we were trying to figure out how to correct without additional surgery because of that Remicade Chemo Therapy.... (Last I heard they had reclassified Remicade to chemotherapy drug per my stoma nurse...)

There are also large squares of thicker "filler" that Coloplast sent to me.
