well its been 2 months since my rehook surgery, i followed all the advice i found on this site from diet to using the toilet . i now am going to the toilet about 4 to 6 times a day. i am 6 foot 6 and 186 now i gained 6 pounds since my surgery to rehook me . i was nervous before ,reading all the stories but i followed the great advice i found here . my question now has to do with fatigue , i get the proper amount of calories for my hight and a few extra for weight gain but im tired all the time have been since my total colectomy 9 months ago . i was released from all my doctors and can start to exercise more and firm up my muscles thats great. but the fatigue i feel i hate. is this going to be a theme from now on this is a question that im hoping a person with a total colectomy and rehook can answer for me . and the best advice i read here was the use of a barrier cream after using the toilet. so im just hoping for someone to tell me what to expect moving forward . it sounds like im doing great compared to alot of others and i am happy overall . and i would like to say thank you to this site for helping me realize im not alone and things can get better.
