Do I need paste with Brava seal?

I'm trying a Brava sea with my coloplast bag. I read you don't need past. Just put the bag (cut to fit your stoma size) on the ring, and put that on your skin. Is this correct? I did it this am so I'm hoping it was right!

There is no right way to do it, just what works best for you.

I never used a ring. I used a convex wafer, brava protective barrier and a coloplast bag with brava strips over top of the wafer.

I used to use the eakin seals. I would mold it to shape, press it on my skin, then put the wafer on top, then attach the pouch to the wafer. I used 2-piece snap on usually. I didn't need the rings though so I stopped using them, hehe. I really just liked trying everything. With my end ileo, i needed very minimal products. I could get by with convex wafers, pouches, barrier wipes, adhesive remover. It didn't even matter what type of wafers/pouches. They all worked fantastically well as long as they were convex. At a point, it was merely preference. Keith is right, it is all about whatever works for you. Right when you get comfortable with everything, it's going to be gone.
