I am 2 years post colon resection.....about 11 inches removed. I had a temp ileostomy that was reversed also. For about the past 8 months I have a bowel movement a few times in the morning, like always but now I get this sense of continuing to have to have more of them and they are very tiny pieces that are very hard to come out.
I also have an issue with hemmorides so I have found that using a little bit of a fleet enema ( I replace that solution with distilled water) loosens the pieces up so that they can be expelled easier and does not make my hemroids any worse due to straining.
Wondering if this happens to anyone else. I am a 52 year old female with no other health issues but this annoying fragmentation of stool. I drink tons of water, eat plenty of fiber, excersise, and take 1 tbs of citrucell in water every am.
