Walking funny

I’ve felt like my gait has changed - I walk funny since my takedown surgery. It is a little more difficult to sit for long periods of time and then it takes me a min or two to loosen up when I stand. Kinda hard to explain how i walk funny. It kinda just feels like my butt is sore. I ordered a cushion for my chair for at work in hopes it will help for when I’m sitting for a long time.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Nope. I never had much pain in the butt, except after step 1 when I had that drain.

I probably had it when I was going through withdrawal from the steroids. It hurt to sit, it hurt when I would first start to walk. I was also very weak for awhile so walking wasn’t the easiest. All I wanted to do was to sleep.

I didn't have it after takedown but I've had it since my follow up procedure. Like you said, my left buttcheek seems to be almost like sore, I can't stand for too long periods of time, like muscle fatigue.

I'll be asking my surgeon at a follow up on Monday.
