hello my dad has had a coloscopy bag on for 16 month and we are going to see his surgen in March and i am wanting some help listing some questions what to ask to him for more of an idea for what is going to happen to him. However it will put my mind at ease aswell as his as he would forget what the Surgen had said by the time he has walked out of the door. Only question i have at the moment is: What complications will they be. any help would be highley grateful

I need alot of questions. i will also be taking my book and pen so i can jot down some notes while he is talking to us.

Any eperiances and questions you have asked would you kidley share them with me please

no its a temporary one and hes going to get his colon attached back to normal. this app is just to talk about it on whats going to happen but i would like some advice on what to ask so it puts both of our minds at ease. so once i no in more depth of whats going on then me and my dad can talk about it a bit more. i know when he first went in to have the bag on he wasn't in any pain afterwards and the doctor was very surprised but if its going to be the same opp cut in the same place he might be in a lot of pain as any other opp. but i would think it would take more time healing. I Just want to be supportive as much as i can and do as much as i can to get him better as he is stubborn and doesn't like any fuss. I m 21 yrs and i cant even begin to imagine what will be going on in my head i was nervous wreck when he was in the last time getting the bag placed.
