Namely chronic pain.Sherrine, Do you ever worry that being in a pool for an extended length of time might prevent your ostomy from sticking in the future? I think...no,I KNOW that I am overly cautious in trying to avoid submerging my ostomy area in water. I use a shower seat because of my balance issues and I do what I can to keep from getting my ostomy wet for fear of it not sticking. my 30th birthday-Lord, I hated those things!!!!
That was the very first time (2000 circa) I experienced a rash on my ostomy that prevented it from sticking. I have found much better success with the Disposable wafers of Convatec.😀
