Prolapse stoma

My stoma has prolapsed

It did this a year ago and my surgeon went in and fixed it. It’s doing it again. Not as bad/extreme.

Any thoughts? Ideas.

Just thinking if it was the same dr both times might want to find a different surgeon. Maybe someone else has more training/different method that could be more successful.

What were your symptoms? I was just hospitalized and the admitting doctor was not specialized in anything ostomy. I was diagnosed with salmonella but my stoma is still extremely swollen. Any ideas? The doctor did mention prolapse...
