Heyo, I've been experiencing symptoms over the last 16 days and I'm not sure what to do at this point as it's taking a long time for me to get into a urologist. I was hoping if anyone had any idea or maybe some answers for some peace of mind as the mental toll has been really high as of lately.
I have a suprapubic mittrafanoff in the upper right quadrant of my abdomen used for intermittent catheterization. I currently had a Foley put in place as I could no longer get a intermittent catheter through the stoma. It felt as though I was hitting walls and bends then I've never experienced before. This was accompanied at the same time with abdominal pain in the belly region just above the bellybutton branching to the top of the stoma. Pain is sharp and is worsened with eating solid food. Stoma feels as though there is large amounts of pressure around it as well as separation at the top portion from the skin. This started with a bladder spasm accompanied by a decent collection of blood in the bladder that stopped shortly after. This morning on waking up I swear that my stoma was extremelly pale. This was accompanied by extremelly cold extremities in the lower abdomen until standing up. This proceeded with a pop above the stoma and a warm flush of fluid feeling as it reached all my cold insides. I'm not really sure what to do, the emergency room is very confused with my anatomy and is unwilling to do anything until a specialist that specializes in bladder extropy can see me. Maybe I'm over reacting but it's really hard to continue day to day life mentally with having no answers and having all of this go on.
Edit: I wanted to add some details, i have occasionally gotten this popping feeling since it all started in the top of my stoma and has been really strange. There has also just been extreme intestine action, my belly has been beyond noisey but only above the stoma area with an occasional cold drip feeling running down in that area. The whole thing has been really strange as of lately. Thank you for any insight you can give me with this.
