Gallbladder removal

Hey gang

Had an ileostomy now about 18yrs, no issues. But lately my gallbladder has been acting up-slow to empty which is causing me some pain.

Has anyone else with an ileostomy had their gallbladder removed? How did the gallbladder removal affect your stoma output?

Matt,
I haven't personally... But a lady in my ostomy support group has had her gallbladder removed. She said she goes more frequently. It's loose and smellier.

She also has an issue with sudden nausea.
