mayo clinic?

I was wondering if anyone has gone to the mayo clinic for any of the reasons to have a illiostomy? I will be going to mayo in Rochester, Minnesota.. I am having a jpouch made and then will go back sometime in april (hopefully) to have a takedown due UC...I just want to know how the experience was and maybe who the surgeon was.. Thank you!!!

You can find a lot of people who had their j-pouch surgeries done at the Mayo if you go to www.j-pouch.org That website is the authority on j-pouch experiences.
