Reversal Op - Any downsides?

Hey everyone, sorry this is my first time joining any forum, especially one regarding my Colostomy pouch. I've had it for a year, only found out I was sick and needed it a week before I had to get it. All in all, I've noticed a big difference in my life, some good some bad.

I was talking to my stoma nurse a while ago about getting the op reversed, and she said that some women wait until they have a family before doing so because it may affect your chances of having kids. I've kinda decided what I want to do, but I'd love to hear from people who've had it reversed and how it affected them. I'm going to talk to the docs about it, but any other peoples views would really help.
