are there any vitamins us ostomy people should stay away from? i just read "you the owner's manual," and in it they suggest a heaping pile of various vitamins, so i thought i might start taking some....don't want to take anything bad for me tho!

Any multiple vitamin with a USP stamp of approval should be okay.

I take Forvia, it was developed for people with UC or Crohn's. While I no longer have UC I do believe that my body is just naturally depleted in certain vitamins. You can read more about the vitamin at www.forvia.com Your GI may have free samples too.

do you have any problems takingg the pills, or would a liquid version be better?>

I have no problem taking pills. The Forvia does come in a chewable version but I take the regular.
