Stuck42Long, it sounds like you have 3 wonderful dogs, and Puddy sounds awesome. I used to have an orange tiger. What a sweetie he was. Aren't you blessed to have such a big fan club? ! !
Thank you for sharing with me, that you have lost your brother, too. I can't even imagine losing someone to a violent act. I am so sorry for your loss. It is so true, how painful grief is, and maybe having Fibromyalgia makes it even more physical. I think we deserve to have this opportunity for less pain, as we have been rid of these toxic colons.
I am also sorry that your husband left two days after your surgery, and that your family didn't understand your situation. Thank God for your Dad, and I am glad that we can be here for you, to support you, even though we can't hold your hand or make you a meal. It is sure good to be able to communicate our stories with each other.
Bootynoworky, How was Rod Stewart? Sounds fun. Were you in much pain during or after the concert? How many weeks out from surgery are you now? I am sure your family is correct, that you should wait to go back to the standing all day, job. It sounds like you are doing well. Good luck with the move, and I hope your headaches go away.
Mwabit, Madison and Jibbers sound wonderful! My precious is a gray cat, also. One of his eyes are dark brown and one is greenish. He had a few speckles in his eye, and they became a cluster and then it went all dark. Everyone says, "he has two different eyes." He can see fine, it just screwed up his good looks a bit. I hope you can gain weight back. Have you tried adding Ensure to your diet? I have the opposite problem, I need to lose about
another maybe 30 pounds. I have lost a total of 42 pounds in the past two years. 13 since the surgery. Slow but sure.
I am going to work tomorrow. I sit at a desk, and I'll just stay for a couple of hours and then I'll come back home. I am getting tired of having a sore tummy, and it kind of hurts each time I eat. Have you ladies had that problem? It doesn't seem to matter what I eat, but I get more pain. I am still taking 2 - 4 Tramadol per day. I took one Oxycodone last week on a more painful day. Every day here in Minnesota, it has been raining, and still, the rest of my body seems much calmer than ever before in the past eight years. My legs get achey, but I have been in the chair a lot. Looking forward to moving more this week. I went shopping today and I am down one pant size. New jeans...how fun!
We had our spring birthday party at Mom's today. It was fun to go, but my brother was deeply missed. My mom cried a lot, and I cried after the party. It is most difficult at family events, because that is where we would see, him. I am protecting myself from too much crying righ now, just to heal more, but don't want to slow down the grieving process either.
Thanks for listening.
Sorry so long.
