About this pain...

I had my surgery on 4-17, and the cut was from about two inches above my belly button, then it goes to the right of my belly button and on down.  The problem is with the part above my belly button to just a little below it.  The sticky part of the flange goes over part of the cut.  The only place that has ever hurt are those spots.  I am worried that is being caused by an irriation or something by the sticky stuff, but my skin isn't broken or irritated.  It is like a pinching feeling, from inside.  I know that the pain at the top is not from the osotmy because the sticky is nowhere near there.  There is pain on the other side, the left side, but not as bad.  When I straighten up and strech my stomach out it is worse, but if I can get where my tummy is curled up then it pretty much quits hurting.  Does anyone remeber having pain like this after their surgery?

Thank you. My husband (he's a nurse) looked at it again today, and he said the same thing, lol. But I don't always trust him!

It is getting a little better.

They told me six weeks,but it probably would depend alot on your job. I could go back now, no more than I actually do at work, we aren't very busy, so alot of the time, i just color, lol. But I don't really want to yet!

June 1 is the day i told them I could go back too. Must be a popular day!
