Painful Sex after reversal???

I had my reversal surgery on June 20th after ruptured colon in March. Doc said I could resume sex as long as I was comfortable. I thought I was but sex was extremely painful on my right side. Anyone else experience this? Am I being too impatient with my recovery time? Should I be concerned?  I have not asked doc about it yet, I have a follow-up appt on Friday and I will talk to him then. I was just hoping to find someone who had the same problem and could put my mind at ease. I guess I just need to know that the pain will go away, I can do without a lot of things in life but sex IS NOT one of them.............

i would say it's a bit early, I didn't have a reversal, but i'm sure you still have pain in your stomach, and i have noticed that sometimes sex makes me have stomach cramps, even before i had my bag.

i have only had mine since april, but i don't have redness or swelling still, i do still have an occasional pain, but I have heard that it can take up to a year for your stoma to go to it's regular size, but I don't know about the redness

my doctor says the actual stoma should be dark pink-red, but the skin around it should not.....
