My Gastroenterologist told me that I do not have to take any maintenance medicine for Crohn's,
since I am in remission, and to see her again in a year!!

Congrats! That's great news! My son has Crohn's and UC but hasn't had to have any surgery because of it yet. I'm knocking on wood that he never will.

Yippie Cecilia! That is FABULOUS! I am so excited that you can be avoid those medications! My husband and I were looking over our monthly financial budget this month and we have a couple hundred more $$ left over this month than we normally do. My husband and I could not figure out why we had more money in our budget. We did not make more money last month and we had not forgotten to pay any bills, so where did the extra money come from? Then I realized something....I do NOT have to pay for all of my medications and doctor visits anymore! I usually pay about
$150 a month in meds and I visit a Dr every week or two. Woo Hoo! Now we can afford go to out for a date night!
Love'n Life!
