Can anyone help with a problem my husband has encountered. He had a permanent illeostomy in 11/06, the Doctor and Nurse both said his stool would be very watery, but it seems to have become very thick and pasty. He has tried fruit, and juices, increasing his fluid intake
but it still tends to be thick. Is there anything different we could try?
Any suggestions?

Mine is very thick and annoying. I mix a little prune juice with water and that makes it much easier to get out of the bag. I tried apple juice and grape juice but neither worked for me.
