I can understand all of the fears you maybe having,I had my surgery done on May 8th of this year. I had an emergancy surgery because I had an obstruction, abcess, and a perferation. I am a newbie to this and I have alot to learn and go through. I have ups and downs with this. I have an iliostomy, that is not reversable. I wear the same clothes I did prior to my surgery, which are low rise jeans, but don't get me wrong , I do have my moments of insecurity, and I do feel like I am the only one, that is till I found this website that could help me when I am feeling vulnerable. Sometimes I say why me? Then I thank god that I am alive . I would be happy to talk with you and any others that could help me through the challenges that come our way.
