Hi!! New to this post--usually post at Crohn's site! To make this short, I have had crohn's for 22 years (42 years old) and have had my lovely colostomy for 11 years. Lately I have had BAD pain when i pass my stools--starts slow and then it errupts!! GI sent me for a ct scan and the results are that I have a very large Gallstone and a parastomal hernia. The hernia is looped and is pressing against my abdomin wall. GI wants me to see a surgeon asap said this needs to be addressed now. Anyone else ever had this and what am i in for? How much time will i have to spend in the hospital? How often can this happen? Any advise or stories of your own would be great!! Thanks!!
