WEARING A STOMA CAP

ok, here is my question...Can you put a one-pience stoma cap on top of a two-piece wafer.  I can only wear Hollister New Image because my skin sensitivity.  However, Hollister does not make a two-pc cap that will stick to my flange.  I am wondering if I could put the cap on top of my wafer.  I can't rip my wafer off just to put a cap on for a few hours.  My goal is to keep my wafer on as long as I can.  I can't pull my wafer off everyday just to cap my stoma...that is just silly. nono

My stoma stays a sleep most of the day. I could probably wear a cap for most of the morning hours. I am going to call Edgepark tomorrow and place an order. Since my insurance covers nearly everything I buy, I am going to add the caps to my order. I will let you know what I learned.

Yes, it gets very uncomfortable when my bag takes forever to fill. However, I suffer from CI and CC (colonic inertia/ chronic constipation) or slow motility. Things moving slow is just part of the illness that I have to accept. My bag will normally start to show some stool between 3-4pm. Normally, I only have to empty my bag once during daylight hours.
