My mother is 91 and has Parkinsons. I have read of the improvements that can occur with glutathione injections.
There is a doctor who does give glutathione injections in New York, Dr. Ronald Colman. We will go to him if we cannot find anyone closer. We live in the New London, CT area, not far from the RI border. So far, I have seen on a website someone who gives glutathione suppositories in CT, but that doesn't seem to be the way to go.
We can relatively easily get to the New Haven, Hartford and Providence, RI areas. Really, most anywhere in CT or RI would do, an hour's drive is not that much. Two hours to New York is possible, but would be more difficult. Still, we would drive it anyway to see if my mother can get the help.
I realize that glutathione injections have a mixed history. The Italian study done in the 90's yielded great results, the Hauser study done in 2009 said it gave only minimal improvement. I figure it's worth giving a shot, even if it is not covered by her Medicare.
Any help you can give toward directing me to a doctor who gives glutathione shots for Parkinsons is greatly appreciated.
