Parkinsons and lyme disease

I am not pointing a finger and saying YOU have been misdiagnosed, but there is evidence here. Did you know that Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with lyme disease three years before being diagnosed with Parkinson? He was bit by a tick while working on a movie in conn., where lyme disease originated. Did you know that 4 workers on his movie set were also diagnosed with Parkinsons?

Not trying to stir up trouble here, lyme disease is THE MOST misdiagnosed disease out there. The testing is completely inaccurate and doctors ARE ignoring lyme disease, don't let their ignorance affect your life.

My father has just gotten a positive test result for Lyme Disease after a nightmarish year of being treated for Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. One of his physicians even LAUGHED at my mother when she suggested tertiary Lyme and said "There is no Lyme in Pennsylvania." (I am not sure where he got his medical degree...maybe a gumball machine).

She pursued it, and finally we have our answer. I wonder how many poor individuals this is happening to. Once you start doing the research about Lyme, you really see how it can masquerade as other neurodegenerative diseases, especially in the late stage.

It took going to a Lyme specialist 4 hours away to get the proper testing done.
