How effective is slow-release Sinemet compared to regular Sinemet? I suspect that it would depend greatly on the individual symptoms and stage of PD, but can it be more efficacious? It would certainly be more convenient than having to take medication several times a day. I would appreciate any views from people who have tried the SR version.
You might think that this would be a question for the treating specialist, but in the area where I live there are just general neurologists with no specialist knowledge of movement disorders, and, I have to say, not much knowledge about PD, so I'm pretty much dependent on what I can find out for myself.
